Ken stopped at the garage today to check on the progress of Rachel's car repairs. When he arrived back home he was carrying two boxes. Apparently a truck that was transporting gourmet English cucumbers broke down and the truck driver, instead of thowing them out, started giving them away. I swear there are a couple hundred cucumbers in those boxes!! Anybody want some? If you do, come and get 'em! We'll never eat them all.

I already received two bags full at work on Wednesday and Thursday. They are most delicious. I thought they were some kind of pickling cucumber. BossMan gave me the first bag full, he said that they have a special name that starts with G but he couldn't remember what it was and to call Marilyn because she knew. I called Marilyn the next day to ask her the name of them ... she said "gourmet". Then she called me back and told me there was more waiting for me if I wanted them. I'll will take more, but not for eating. I am sick of eating them. I will make some relish.
